Kettering, Chris Gray won the Local Sportsperson of the Year Award and was runner up in the Disabled Sportsperson of the Year category. At county level Chris was runner up in the Local Sportsperson of the year Award. For the winning category he received a trophy and the two categories where he was runner up he received a framed certificate.


Joe Peplow wins his first Liberty match


John Rogers bows out of National Champion of Champions Singles after 21-5 defeat against Mitchell Harvey of Soilhull IBC.  John said "Solihull was so cold last night and extremely slow unlike Tamworths fast rink".


Joe Peplow selected to play Liberty for Worcestershire.


EALABA's John Rogers accompanied by club mate Stewart Ellis from Tamworth IBC played in the first round of the National Pairs against Lee Rowland and Bill Claridge, both Liberty players from Avon Valley BC, beating them 15-14 on the last end.


EALABA member Mac Otton with partner Mervyn Taylor played in the finals day on the 8th Septmber 2019 at Royal Leamington Spa Bowls Club in the Donald Bowl Pairs, after a very close and competitive game Mac and Mervyn came out on top winning 21-19.

This is Mac's first year entering competitions at his Leamington club so he was really proud to win first time round.  Well done Mac.

Dave Fisher and John Rogers, along with DBE's Jonathan Stokes and Steve Angus will represent DBE in the Champion of Champion at Potters this coming December.
