EALABA players formed a strong and important part of the LDIBIS – Learning Disabilities Indoor Bowls International Series 2024.
Seven players gained selection to the England squad through a series of trials, individually and in a team. Sally Darby, Daniel Humphries and Chris Gray formed the L1 squad. Rhys Milton, Steven & Barry Nicholson and Harry Atkin completed the L2 squad.
The whole England squad were under the management of Head Coach, Marie Nicholson supported by hubby David Nicholson, assistant head coach Kirsty Atkin, and coaches Stevie Angus, Alice Atkin, Ray Gray, Diane and John Rogers.
Defending Champions England, faced restructured, and rejuvenated, Scottish and Welsh teams in these friendly series of games for the coveted Munro Cup.

Commencing with a training day, then 24 matches over 2 intense days, the Championship and Munro Cup went to Scotland with England being Silver medallists. The competitiveness and friendliness was something to behold. The standard of bowls was absolutely amazing.
Next year, 2025, the teams meet again at Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club, Cardiff, Wales dates 22-24th April.
